NeighborWorks America | Facilitation, and Strategy, and Course Development

Working with the Community Initiatives Team, we design and facilitate member gatherings online and in person. We also developed and are teaching a series of courses for the Training and Community Leadership Institutes on arts, culture, and equitable community development in-person and online. The courses were initially developed through a series of five peer-learning visits around the country and supported by a partnership with ArtPlace America, and in collaboration with Department of Beloved Places Founder Theresa Hyuna Hwang. Each course provides participants with the opportunity for hands-on practice, peer conversation, exposure to best practices, and more. The focus of these courses is training practitioners and community leaders to produce arts and culture that supports, rather than displaces, working class, immigrant, and communities of color.
